If Only Microsoft Made Xbox One Controllers This Nice

When you pick up an Xbox One this week (or anytime in the near future), I hope you like black, because that's the only colour you'll be able to get it in. Those wanting their controllers to be a little more adventurous, though, at least have a third-party option to spice things up.

Just like they did with the PS4, Evil Controllers will be releasing a range of Xbox One pads in all kinds of nutty colours and patterns. And again, just like the PS4, you're going to pay for the privilege. The XB1 pads are selling for $US110 as a launch special price, down from a regular $US130, which is a lot for a controller.

Then again, that white one is pretty sweet.

You just know the second you buy the white one they'll announce alternate coloured controllers.

Gonna get myself one of those looks nice.

    That blue one is hawwtttt
They will surely release alternate ones for the Xbox One
    Take 360 for example
    White, Black, Red, Halo3green, Halo3mcfarlane spartan /brute
    Halo3odstgreen, Gold, Silver, Pink, Blue
Halo reach, Halo 4 x2 variants, FableIII
Gears of war, C3PO, I'm sure there were plently of others like Chrome, Eb / gamestop red and black, Army Camo

Oh god give me that orange one, that is awesome.

      Mother of god...

How do they get away with charging so much for what is a decorated shell? Every other part is the same.

They also offer a full 12 months warranty on them from memory, which they would have to honor themselves since Microsoft wouldn't touch these with a 10ft pole.

We in Aus get at least 1 yr warranty, and then additional consumer law warranty. :P No bonus there!

Do they sell them in Aus? Looks like USD :p

Cost of purchasing controller + Cost of materials + Cost of process of applying decoration + Fee they almost definitely have to pay microsoft per sale in order to be a legitimate 3rd party 'modded' controller company.

That all adds up ontop of the $60'ish flat price of a controller to equal $130, with profit for the company as well of course.

In a very basic way, more or less.

All of those textured/non-solid colour ones look just terrible to me...

Same, for some reason though the white and fluro orange ones are drawing me in though!
