You could take the time to rebuild all of Skyrim in Minecraft, or you could play Minecraft: Skyrim Edition, announced today by Microsoft and Bethesda for the Xbox 360.
This one takes less effort.
Via Microsoft:
Developed by 4J Studios, “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” Mash-Up features an exclusive Skyrim-themed texture set, 40 character skins, themed menus and user interface, craftable items, and more than 20 iconic selections from “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” original game soundtrack. The comprehensive pack also includes a stunning pre-made world, recreating the memorable areas of Whiterun, Riverwood, and Bleak Falls Barrow.
The pack will cost $US4, according to Bethesda’s blog. No word on release date just yet, but here are some pretty screenshots:

I wonder if these texture packs will be avalible on the PS4 and XboxOne versions. Hope so.
I didn’t like the bog standard version of Minecraft, and I tried multiple times to get into Skyrim, but I just didn’t like it.
So I’ll be staying right away from this.
COOL! it’s like a combination of the two most epic games ever!
I guess that makes up for not being able to have mods on the 360 version.
Is anything like this around for the PC?
someone will mod it for pc and I’ll be there to snap it up
