South Park: The Stick Of Truth Delayed… Again

Bad news for anyone who was hoping to play the South Park RPG in December: the folks behind it have delayed the game again.

Now South Park: The Stick of Truth is scheduled for March 4 of next year. It’ll be out on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.

This is the third *official* delay for the Obsidian-developed game which was originally slated to be published by THQ last March, then picked up by Ubisoft, delayed and delayed until December 2013, and will now be out in 2014.

Via the Ubisoft blog, a quote from South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone: “We always wanted the game to feel like you’re actually in an episode of South Park. Getting the game up to the crappy standards of the show has been a real challenge and we’re excited to say it’s taken way longer than we thought it would.”
