You might be surprised by how ambitious and detailed framedarchitecture’s Civilisation V mod is. While other mods only change a few things, his attempts to fully convert the entire game to one of the largest and most famous campaign settings Dungeons & Dragons has to offer: the Forgotten Realms.
You can choose from 25 civilisations, all reflecting Faerûn’s largest kingdoms and races.
Policy branches have been replaced with classic D&D schools of magic.
The tech tree has been fully revamped with new buildings and units that fit into Faerun. Gotta go for that Wild Magic upgrade!
And, of course, the religions too, have been replaced. You can finally worship the Cult of Cyric…
Oh, and Drizzt is in the mod too!

woohoo I love forgotten realms
Ive read all the drizzit books so it kinda appeals to me
Really should get around to play Civ V sometime.
Bought it and the second expansion ages ago, but never got around to it.
And now I probably won’t, at least not until the newest expansion goes on sale sometime.
Have trouble making myself play a game if I know there’s significant content for it that I don’t have.
I don’t think the Mod would work without the expansion
Yes this is a good mod, been playing it for a few months now. Still very ‘civilization’ of course, but nice twist on it
Looks like it could use some original (and thus consistent) art, but hey, it sounds neat.
Are there gnolls in it? Gnolls are boss.
Which empire would use gnolls?
The gnoll empire!
Lead by Yeenoghu why not.
