The Vita Gets A Slick New JRPG Today

The PlayStation Vita needs more games like Ys: Memories of Celceta, a Falcom-developed action-RPG that comes out today for Sony's portable system.

Ports of games like Borderlands 2 and Spelunky are great and all, but this is the type of game that the Vita really deserves: a sharp, solid JRPG that you can only play on this system.

I've spent a couple hours with Ys, and it's quite good, if you're into hiking across big, lovely terrains and hacking away at baddies, Monster Hunter style. If you've got a Vita, and you like action-RPGs, check it out.

Released in Aus yet? If so I'm definitely picking it up.

I don't think its coming to Aus. There is nothing signs of it on PSN, and I've rang up EB and they knew nothing about it. Once again Aus PSN is getting screwed.

Just get the collectors edition from ozgameshop. It only costs ~$68 and comes with some nice swag.

The CE looks awesome, primarily because of the soundtrack stuff which has a selection of tracks from all the Ys games. Ys has some of the best game music out there IMO.

NISA are publishing it in PAL territories in Early 2014, otherwise you can always import it as the Vita is region free.

You convinced me. I just bought this..

I always wanted to buy these RPGs, Valhalla Knights 3, Ragnarok Odyssey Ace and this.
      But DLCs always gets me...

I'd actually love to play Ni No Kuni on my Vita.

Looks good! i just bought a vita a couple of days ago and would love to get this game. Is it out in the UK yet? From what i understand we can import it from there and DLC's still work?
