One of them is bad. But that’s OK, I guess? Behold some of the latest Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII downloadable content.
Today, Square Enix launched the first round of DLC for the game. The outfits, which come with weapons, are The Divine World’s Saint Clothing Style, The Final Liberation Clothing Style, and, wait for it, The Moogle Lover Style. Below, you can see the outfits, courtesy of 4Gamer.
Moogles are those little critters all over Lightning.
Each is priced at ¥400 ($4), while the full set is ¥1000 ($10). No word yet on a Western release.

There’s also actually a demo out you can download if you have a Japanese PSN account.
All… The…. FASHION!!!
I would say “those poor moogles”, but Mog was really fucking annoying in FFXIII-2, so screw ’em.
Poor moogles? Some might say lucky moogles, looking at where they are placed. But are they toys, dead bodies, or alive? It’s Japan so it can go either way
I suppose it’s up to the individual moogles whether being close to Lightning’s breasts, crotch, and arse is worth being hit with the full force of all enemy attacks. Moogles don’t look particularly sturdy either, so assuming they’re alive (which I’m hoping they are), they probably won’t stay that way for long. I can just see Lightning having to restock her moogles in between fights. Maybe grab a handful, hold them down, and get some duct tape.
I’m hoping that every time Lightning gets hit while wearing the moogle outfit, the player can hear the pained cries of numerous moogles. The more damage the attack does, the more they scream.
