What am I playing this weekend? What am I not playing. Jesus. There’s Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Super Mario 3D World, Assassin’s Creed IV, Pikmin 3, Wind Waker HD, Resogun. I am overwhelmed. I don’t know where to begin. Have mercy everyone.
It feels like everything just hit me at once again. It’s intense, but at the same time I feel as though I am truly enjoying the games I’m playing. It’s been a while since I’ve felt that way. The new console launches really have invigorated me. It’s a good feeling to love video games again.

I’m going to visit my Grandmother from Saturday morning till Monday. I *guess* I’ll have to make do with portable games like Zelda, Phoenix Wright and Pokemon. Sigh.
Probably keep playing the Warmachine league I’m in. Other than that, probably finally finish Dragon’s Dogma.
Since some people have moved on to the Xbone there’s really nobody else to play games with.
How many hours do you reckon Dragon’s Dogma is? I got it free off PS+ a while back but haven’t got around to downloading it. Is it worthwhile?
It’s the non-Dark Arisen version and I’m up to the second last main quest. Currently have 51 hours of playtime. But I’m also doing all side-quests and notice boards.
If you include side quests, I’d say about 45 hours at the very least.
And yes, it is very worthwhile. I loved every minute of it.
I recommend playing as the archer.
Even if every main mission started cancels/fails certain side quests, which I always hate.
Yeah, the game certainly isn’t perfect.
But despite a number of flaws (i.e., no fast travel, poor narrative, bland art style), I loved their pawn system, gameplay, boss battles, level design and some really cool music too.
Happy to give Dark Arisen a go once my backlog is all cleared up.
I thought that the art style was pretty decent. Particularly when it comes to the equipment and weapons, a nice variety of design.
Fast travel does exist, although limited. Need to use Ferrystones to travel to Gran Soren, and wherever you dropped your second Portcrystal (which can increase by 1 up to 10 for each playthrough).
They fixed that in Dark Arisen, making Ferrystones cheaper, adding in more Portcrystals and placing a couple of permanent Portcrystals, including one in Cassadiris.
With the Steam Sale on at the moment I will say that anything is possible

Ass Creed 4, Killzone! Hooray for PS4! Leaving work early to go pick it up.
I finished Ryse during the week, and since I was unable to get a PS4, I’ll be continuing with Dead Rising 3 and Forza 5. I’ll also be buying Need For Speed: Rivals, Madden NFL 25, Lococycle, Powerstar Golf and maybe Zoo Tycoon as well, so I’ll be trying to get in at least some time with all of those.
Oh, almost forgot, I’ll be picking up Splinter Cell: Blacklist 5th Freedom Edition, EB have got them fairly cheap – $47, and some of the Series 2 Disney Infinity figures, and wave 2 Skylanders: Swap Force figures (for when it launches on Xbone next week), but I don’t think I’ll have any spare time for any of those last three.
It’s the last board game day of the year tomorrow, so that’s going to happen. Hoping to bust out K2 and see how many of us struggle up the mountain.
I’m really looking forward to Mario. Definitely going to spend some time on that.
XCOM: Enemy Within mostly, with some Guacamelee and Etrian Odyssey IV on the side. I’ll probably slot in a few rounds of Droid Assault too here and there.

I’m getting old, I can’t spoiler like I used to. Sometimes a guy just has to brag.
Fair enough. Some days I just search the web for half an hour or so and do nothing but spoilers.
Most guys do, they just don’t admit it.

I finished a LBTW (fantastic Zelda game, dungeons are a bit short and easy, I died once throughout the entire game), so now to finish Mario U, and play some more Pikmin 3.
Also will play some BF4/Hearthstone.
I’m tossing up between whether I next buy WW HD or Mario 3d World.
Don’t have my Wii U anymore, but I would totally buy SM3DW over WW HD.
I don’t know how you guys can play so many games at once. Only so many hours in the day.
I’ll be doing a little bit of Skyrim, and the odd game of street fighter 4. That’s it.

Saints Row 3 on PS3: starting to grow on me a bit. Might try to get the platinum if the challenges aren’t too time-consuming.

Resogun is pretty ace.
BF4 and Ghosts double XP weekend – will be BF4ing on PC, Ghosting on PS4. Any time I’m not doing either of those will likely be spent with WoW, or possibly sating my urge to get back on GW2 again.

I’m thinking about trading in my CoD:Ghosts (Xbone) copy towards something else…namely Forza/DR3/Ryse.
I’ve got no idea. I’m raising Pokemon so I want to play that, my DCUO league is active again so I want to do some raiding with them, I want to play A Link Between Worlds, I want to play with Pokemon TCG Online, I want to play the new Mario, I want to play Dead Rising 3, I want to knock over the backlist of XBOX 360 games that won’t be going to PS4/XBOX One… I want to take a week off games.
PS4 – going to smash killzone and AC4. Yeah.
Also new Zelda on 3DS soooo freaking awesome.
