Realm Lovejoy used to work as an artist at Valve, where she helped define the look of everything from Portal to Left 4 Dead to DOTA 2. We’ve even featured her work previously here on Kotaku. But we’re not here to talk about her art today.
Nope, because between leaving Valve and taking up a job at Halo studio 343, she’s found time to publish a sci-fi book called CLAN, which is a “science-fiction tale about a young member of a society of human clones on an alien planet.”
By early accounts, the book’s pretty damn good. It’s also helping out a good cause, with Realm donating all royalties earned thus far to a Seattle homeless children’s charity.
