Here’s something I never really mentioned: I really love that Kotaku US has been reporting on gaming issues in China. It’s such a different, unique market and I find it super exciting. Thought it might be worth highlighting a few of these.
Like this story: China has its own answer to Pokemon. And it’s in space. Or this: China’s favourite homegrown mobile games. China is a market that is expanding rapidly and I like reading about it.
This isn’t games but it’s cool: it’s a piece of Batman fan fiction focusing on his relationship with the Joker. It really has to be read to be believed. The art is outstanding.
Remember Batman, son of Superman? His ID circled around the internet a couple of years back and we all laughed verily. Apparently that man is in jail now! Whoa.
And finally, Nintendo is re-releasing something. And it isn’t a video game for once!
