This Christmas With SEGA Video Brings All The Festive Cheer

You are reading Kotaku, so I'm going to go right ahead and assume that your Christmases as a child were much like the ones shown above. The games might have been different, the platform may have been different, but the reaction would have been the same: you got video games. You were so excited to play those video games. What a wonderful time.

I think that's what I love most about the above video. It reminds us all just how enthusiastic we were about games, and how awesome it felt to get those games at Christmas. I have a kid now. I'm really looking forward to seeing his reactions when he gets old enough to understand the whole thing. I'm looking forward to seeing his little face light up when he unwraps whatever infernal video game we'll all be playing in four or five years time.

A lot like that, but with FAR less games. =P

1 was the usual number, maybe 2 if they were both shitty cheap titles.

    @ 49.95 per game WTF^#[email protected]

definately not my childhood, lol i mainly got a few transformers/ninja turtles/gi joes or whatever i was into at the time, but not where near a stash like that, hell i didnt even has a console LOL :(

I'd say a number of those aren't brand new (For example, the box of Master System games that he got years after getting a Sega CD title)

I remember feeling like this when my parents got me Theme Park for the Mega Drive! Ahhhh to be young again!
