A staple of the series since Melee, Princess Zelda returns for her third consecutive Super Smash Bros. appearance on the Wii U and 3DS. High-definition has been very, very kind to our princess.

interesting. first thought is that she looks nothing like the zelda from SS. Perhaps she’s a character model of the zelda in the hopefully-soon-to-be-released zelda game
This is twilight princess Zelda.
It’s her Twilight Princess garb (sans sword) by the look of it, I’m assuming Link is the same based on hair colour and the little bit at the end of his hat.
Heh. Thanks for pointing that out! Totally didn’t notice it. Still rather curious that they used the zelda from TP rather than SS though….
SS Zelda is a pansy girl who will do smile at you. Not fight Mario.
TP Zelda is a full grown women who will fuck you in the a**.
Yeah. You really can. Easily. But she’s a great inclusion!
Seeing as they had Link AND Toon Link, I’d love to see them include Toon Zelda/Tetra.
I was thinking the same thing, but the interesting inclusion of the phantom (from the DS games) apparently under her control in the third to last screen suggests there wouldn’t be a separate toon Zelda, as the phantom would be exclusive to her instead.
And Sheik?
I suppose Zelda is pretty cool, with his wee hat and sword…
