A small group of fans have taken Tony Hawk’s Underground 2 and modded the pants off it, adding a bunch of levels and getting the whole thing running in 1080p.
They’ve also improved online play, added new skater customisation options and even included settings that’ll change the game to play like either the PC or PS2 versions.
That’s what they’ve currently got running; stuff they want to add in the near future include levels from every other Tony Hawk’s game (!), a level editor and even a new story mode.
You can grab a copy of the mod here, but note you’ll need a PC copy of Tony Hawk’s Underground 2 for it to work.

Time to hunt down a copy I say
We (by that I mean me and probably Mark) desperately want a new Skate game dammit! Could some PC people get onto that asap? Like Skate2, but with more stuff. Ok Thanks.
I want Skate 1 remade in the Skate 2 or 3 engine. So many places we could get to if we could only walk up stairs!
The re-did some of the levels, like parking garage+EMB and I think there was a school? (never had Skate, didn’t really like it but LOVED Skate 2 so much I still play it every now and again.
Goddamn we need a new Skate game, the user crested content is good, but it’s just… not… enough!
I still regularly play all 3, I love ’em – all three have their own merits. They captured the essence of skating, enough to make me get back out into skating, even though my board control is inconsistent at best. It was the perfect blend between realism and lucid dreaming, i.e being able to do whatever you want, but still be plausible.
Awesome! This is the only PC game I have the disc for!
why mod the worst game in the series?
Got this game laying around on a disc I got from a box of nutri-grain 10 years ago.
FUCK YEA
I’m pretty sure that would be Pro Skater 2 not Underground 2 D:
