Good Thing Pokémon Isn’t Real


Some things are improved by realism, sure. But most things, especially when it comes to games, are probably better because they’re not realistic. Case in point: Pokémon, which would be way different (read: way worse) if its society and creatures worked more like they do in the real world.

Here’s a silly but entertaining video by Animation Domination High-Def which looks at what a more ‘scientifically accurate’ Pokémon world would be like. It’s…not really the type of game I want to play, personally, but it’s still kind of fun to think about.
