Um, Darth Maul Is In Dark Souls II

Okay, let me clarify. It's not actually Darth Maul, and it's not the guy who played Darth Maul in Episode 1, it's the guy who did the voice for the guy who played Darth Maul in Episode 1. So a few degrees of separation there. But still! Darth Maul is in Dark Souls II. Awesome.

The actor in question is Peter Serafinowicz, and he did the brooding baritone voice over for Darth Maul. He plays a character called Mild-mannered Pate, a mysterious treasure hunter. But let's face facts — everyone in the Dark Souls universe is mysterious. That's a series that's plenty sparse with its lore.

Peter has also appeared in comedies like Shaun of the Dead, Parks and Recreation and South Park. You can check out some of his performance in the above video.

To be honest I just wish the game would hurry up and come out already.

You misleading bastards, I was so excited and now I'm just annoyed and sad

I don't even remember him talking.

"Atlast we will have our revenge."
I think that's all he says.

Darth Maul: Tatooine is sparsely populated. If the homing trace is correct, I will find them quickly, Master.
Darth Sideous: Move against the Jedi first. You will then have no difficulty in taking the Queen back to Naboo to sign the treaty.
Darth Maul: At last we will reveal ourselves to the Jedi. At last we will have revenge.
Darth Sideous: You have been well trained my young apprentice. They will be no match for you.

Peter serafinowicz is mucho funny. Very worth checking out his sketch comedy shows.

He was the guy with the 'cool' voice in black books who did the radio shipping forecast.

He was a douche in Spaced too. Love that show.

That would explain why he did the "At last we will have revenge" bit after Tim and Daisy leave him at the bar. MYSTERIOUS ALLUSION SOLVED, PEOPLE!

...and THAT is why Spaced was awesome.

He's also the voice of Driver Dan in Driver Dan's Story Train

@markserrels - you've recently had a kid right? Soon you will know my pain as your TV will be locked to ABC for Kids!

I actually quite enjoy Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom, especially Nanny Plum.

        OMG....WHAT AM I SAYING?

Is he really Driver Dan? Dude's got an impressive range.

He's also in an episode of Would I Lie To You:

How is this news? Someone has a job, great. who cares?
