Who Do I Have To Kill For This Famicom Nintendo 3DS?

Who Do I Have To Kill For This Famicom Nintendo 3DS?

I have a weakness for the Famicom colour scheme. That bold crimson, the slightly tacky gold, it’s an ’80s Chinese restaurant, bad hotel lobby and classic Nintendo console, all rolled into two tones.

And that’s just seeing the shades on the internet! Put them on a 3DS – like James Montagna has done here – and I’ll kill and kill again, just to get hold of one.

Sadly, for now this is just a custom job. But since Nintendo has returned to the Famicom well for handheld reissues before (there have been Game Boy Micro and GBA versions in maroon + gold), who knows, maybe one day soon we’ll get one of these for real.

And it’ll be Japan-only. Sigh.
