So, that big expensive rig the PC gamer team put together is getting some use. They’ve posted some screenshots of the Titanfall beta running on the PC, and those who think 1920×1080 is a big resolution to play games at, haha, well.
The 7680×1440 screens (taken at max settings) are what happens when laugh maniacally at the notion of using just one monitor to play a game on.

Wow, parts of those images look nice, other parts look like garbage.
It gets more stretched further to the outside, I always thought it was intentional in FPS games because it really does feel like peripheral vision when you play them. I can’t recommend triple screen gaming enough, best thing I have done with my pc

This is how I play – except Titanfall only has poor to moderate implementation. As you can see from the screens, there HUD is cut off, because the game is slightly Vert-. So I’ve been playing hudless from the start 😛 It’s not too bad, I still do alright.
This can be done one a moderate rig really – the game is far from taxing. In fact it’s a little on the ugly side, which is a shame.

Holy shit, I missed that the first time.
Not sure if its just me but I can’t run the game smoothly at all. The mouse control jerks so bad when I try to look around with my mouse. End up going back to xbox one beta.
Now I want three monitors side by side.
This game, at least in beta, looks pretty awful on the xbox one.
Is it just me or doesn’t allowing some players to have a wider viewing angle than others give them an unfair advantage?
Incredible advantage, but could say better keyboard, headphones, higher rez screen etc does too?
