A Game That Lets You Swing Garbage At Your Friends

Deathmatch comes in all shapes and sizes, but some of the most satisfying modes are the ones you don’t expect. Particle Mace knows this, and lets you swing lo-fi garbage at your friends.

At Indiecade East, a yearly conference for indie game developers in New York, I interviewed designer Andy Wallace about his game Particle Mace. It’s a game about using physics as your weapon, about manipulating inertia. The result is a game that looks like a bunch of microscopic organisms dancing each other to death in a hypnotic game of chicken.

Particle Mace is currently in pre-alpha for PC, Mac and Linux. You can pick it up here, and vote for it on Steam Greenlight over here.
