From Conan To Mr T, ’80s Action Stars Are Spilling Blood In Broforce

Broforce. It’s been so long since we last spoke, but in that time, you’ve been stocking up on explosions, increasing the volume and lifting. Bro.

I kinda think the name does the game a slight disservice. It suggests a game of hulking men with popped collars, watching college sports and being arseholes. Instead, Broforce is a breathless tribute to the men of the action movies of the 1980s, from Conan to Colonel John Matrix and every Rambo in between.

And, yes, Metal Slug.

The old playable version on the developer’s website is good, but the full package – going for $US15 on the Humble Store – is the more muscular option.
