So, Isaac Hannaford is an artist who was featured here before this concept art feature even had a name. So we’re about overdue for a second, proper look at his work.
As Lead Concept Artist at Destiny and former Halo developers Bungie, Hanneford is the man in charge of shaping the studio’s output. Which is one hell of a responsibility, when you look at the quality of art we’ve seen so far coming out of Destiny.
Below you’ll find some Halo work, but also some pretty fantastic personal stuff
You can see more of Hannaford’s work at his personal site and CGHub page.
Fine Art is a celebration of the work of video game artists, showcasing the best of both their professional and personal portfolios.

I really loved his work in Halo: Reach. That game’s gonna look good for years.
Nice stuff
I’m guessing the colour spaceship pics are Destiny because they don’t really fit the Halo aesthetic.
First pic reminds me of Homeworld fighters
These are really cool, amazing skills, I am feeling the whole Halo/heavy battle-armour look is really geting a bit dated or stale or something. I guess I have been playing characters that kind of look like this for nearly 20 years now. This art-style even longer (looks a lot like the ESB and ROTJ rebel soldier artwork) I’d like to see some more organic, maybe tron-like armour or something on game characters going forwards. This still feels like ideas from the 70s or something.
Thumbs up to his art and design skills though.
