Sitting down in the middle of a town and opening a store with your loot in DayZ is probably the riskiest thing you can do. Some players still like to do that, maybe because they have snipers on the roof. Either way, I am positive that business will be booming.

They do have snipers on the roof… until someone snipes them.
yeah if you know the snipers are around, surely you would look for them and take them out first?
Let’s face it, regardless of the scenario – everyone except one person is going to die in about a 3 second battle and no business will ever occur.
They REALLY need to introduce some kind of stash system… Even if just big enough for a handgun and a clip. Or 4 cans of food and a canteen of water.. Just anything.
Wait… they make a survival zombie apocalypse game… and there’s no geo-caches, treasure maps, looking under rocks, or zombie filled pits with a tin of beans in the middle?

I disagree, the riskiest thing you can do in DayZ is climb to the top of one of those apartment buildings.
two ladders and several flights of stairs, I’d rather face a dozen bandits.
I’ll bet that the vendor there is actually teamed up with a sniper who’s providing him with most of his wares.
