Stabbing At Tokyo Game Studio

This morning, at the Tokyo offices of game developer GeePlus, two employees were injured in a knife attack. Their attacker was a 32-year-old temp worker at the same company.

According to NHK, one of the employees was seriously hurt in the shoulder and the side, while the other experienced a minor finger cut.

The suspect, who was arrested on the scene, said he brought the knife from home. During the attack, he is reported as saying, “You looked at me and laughed, didn’t you?”

Founded in 2012, GeePlus makes social games for Gree, one of Japan’s biggest social networking companies.
