Catch A Glimpse Of Titanfall’s Expensive Live-Action Series

Catch A Glimpse Of Titanfall’s Expensive Live-Action Series

Usually, you have to wait months, years or decades before someone decides to pour blood, sweat and tears to make a filmed adaptation of a video game. Not with Titanfall. Work’s already underway on an effect-heavy series set in the world of Respawn’s mech-happy future. Looks pretty damn spiffy if you ask me.

This Free the Frontier teaser comes as a result of a collaboration between Respawn and Playfight, a productions house that worked on visuals for Video Game High School. The live-action series to come — when exactly is anybody’s guess — will be offering a deeper look into the fictional universe where Titanfall happens. Makes sense for a game where the focus is on super-parkour shooting action. We’re only seeing a quick teaser here but this thing looks like it’s costing a whole hell of a lot of credits. Any amateurs wanting to make their own Titanfall vids are going to have to step their games up.
