GDC Can Be (Almost) Entirely Overwhelming If You’ve Never Been

The Game Developers Conference isn’t like, say, E3. It’s not a trade show about upcoming projects, it’s a discussion forum, where nobody is ever expected to see or hear everything. That means those attending have choices to make.

Some choices are very, very difficult. Thankfully, others are easy. Maybe.

Writer/artist Elizabeth Simins will be hanging out at GDC all week, filing comic strips each day to chronicle her adventures at the show.

We’ll be running her GDC strips all week at Kotaku to give you something of a GDC comic strip diary. You’ll also be able to find them under the tag Game Developers Comics 2014.

You can find more of Simins’ art, much of it about video games, at Cargo Collective. She’s on Twitter@elizsimins.
