The Sith Lord from The Phantom Menace sure seems like he’d be right at home in Drangleic, right?
From Software’s punishing sequel to Dark Souls features actor Peter Serafinowicz voicing the role of treasure hunter Mild-Mannered Pate. Back in 1999 — damn that’s a long time ago! — Serafinowicz was the voice of demonic-looking Darth Maul. So, of course, the enterprising folks at YouTube show SuperRoboPlay had the clever idea of creating a character that looks just like saberstaff-wielding villain. Get the right weapons and armour and you can make him, too.

Still reading this as “Doctor Angelic”
I saw a summon last night whose body looked like Maul, even had the tatts. Wonder if it was the same mob?
Just on the note of the gif, the first area is an awful example of the level of graphics to expect. When I came to the little grass area I thought to myself “holy shit, how does the game look this bad? Surely it won’t all be like this”. Luckily, it wasn’t.
Yeah, but you only have access to 256 colours in that area. Luckily, once you start progressing through the game you can unlock the full ARGB spectrum.
What’s really awesome is that Darth Maul was voiced by Peter Serafinowicz who is a HUGE fan of the Dark Souls series. 😀
