Meet The First Gamer To Get One Million Achievement Points

Well, he's done it. After years of work and more video games than you've probably played in your entire life, Stallion83 has become the first person in the world to achieve a Gamerscore of 1,000,000.

As you can see below, at the end of a marathon session in the home stretch, he stopped the clock at exactly one million.

Congrats, dude. I'd say it's one hell of an achievement, but really, it's one million of them.

It's not just fans who were following him, either. Microsoft kept a close eye on proceedings, Xbox Live's Larry Hryb on the scene to be one of the first to congratulate him.

Good on him, I say. I don't think playing games that much is entirely healthy (and my own gamerscore is under 20k), but he set a goal to be the first in the world, put in the time and effort and money, and reached it faster than anyone. He had a few thousand people watching on Twitch (including me, while I was doing other things) when he got it, around 2am his time.

In the last hour, he got some achievements in Battlefield 4, Rayman Legends, Fifa 14, and the achievement to get the 1m was I Like a Challenge in Titanfall. He was quite nervous about popping more than one achievement to ruin his chance to get exactly 1m, but got it.

    Good on him.

    Whoop-De-Bloody-Do. Someone has no life.
