Yeah, we posted some images from this same Metal Gear cosplay shoot only recently . But screw it, because these news ones that just landed on my desk are way better.
This is what happens when cosplayer Rick Boer and photographer Cynthia Veekens get together. It’s called magic.

Must have a bit of trouble using the iron sight on that m16 when aiming right handed.

I don’t know anything about firing guns, or about proper technique and safety, but wouldn’t he actually hold the rifle in his left side so he doesn’t have to turn his face like that to look down the scope in the sniper rifle picture (second photo)? Such a small thing I know, but seems to be what a master soldier would do if he lost his eye and was traditionally right handed, just swap across.
Some guns you probably could (not sure on this one), but I know a lot of guns discharge the empty casings in a way that if you are a lefty you would receive a nice lot metal near your eyes… which is probably a bad thing.
Said gun designs normally require a alternative ejection systems as obviously not everyone is a righty… or have both eyes. The AK is a good example of that poor design choice in action.
If you’re right handed then ejecting a shell on a left handed bolt action is pretty dangerous if you try to go quick and mix up your hands. Then your only grip on the gun is at the trigger and you’re just a bees schlong away from hitting the bang switch. Much easier to switch eyes I’d say.
(second last picture) He must be very low on health
