Stephan Williams is a senior 3D artist at Carbine Studios, the team working on sci-fi MMO Wildstar. We recently saw some great 2D Wildstar art from Garrett Hanna; this stuff is of the 3D variety but has all the colour you’d expect from a game that’s setting out to burst people’s eyeballs.

Still just chilling till release, I made it to level 30 and then had to call it quits as I started getting abandonment issues with the server resets.
How was the latency, vaegrand? I mean, I expect it was 200-300ms, but how did the gameplay hold up with 0.2-0.3 of a second delay?
Not bad, I can see the late game content being interesting if they don’t give a little more grace to players in OCE. I was playing a warrior tank and found the telegraphs moderately easy to dodge (they are beyond easy in LFR, but there is a clear spike in difficulty in premade).
Will say this though, pvp was a mess, but that may have had more to do with there not being dual speccing so I would get dragged into pvp as a slow tank that had no real damage and had only melee or very thin long range telegraphs. That said in the blood temple pvp instance (CTF) my warrior was a god, proc’d global and laugh off everything as I charge home with mask.
