Teaser Site Hints At Live-Action Titanfall Content

A website has appeared promising a collaboration between Respawn Entertainment and FX house Playfight on “live-action epic” Titanfall content.

“We wanted to partner with Playfight, who has a history of delivering movies that meld gameplay, live action and stellar CG into truly entertaining media, for Titanfall,” reads a quote on the site attributed to Respawn’s Dusty Welch. “What this collaboration brings is yet to unfold…”

A bit more detail is given at the end of the release on the site: “Playfight headed by Director William Chang have begun laying the foundation for the creation of original content within the vast expanse of the Titanfall universe.”

What this all consists of is at yet unknown, but the site, yourtitanisready.com, features clock counting down to midnight PDT Monday night, at which point a video will be available for viewing. Likely this is tied into the “future of Titanfall” announcement that was mentioned on Major Nelson’s podcast this week, which will happen on a livestream of the Titanfall launch party at SXSW in Austin, Texas tomorrow night. That stream will be viewable at the Xbox Twitch feed.
