Dat Beavwa. What a pro. Congratulations for correctly guessing the Friday and Monday’s haitaku was Way Of The Exploding Fist. One of my all-time favourite video games.
Today’s haiku comes from Decoy. Good luck my buddies!
Three ships to be found.
Over, under and smaller.
This is quite the read.
This is HaiTaku. We write haikus about old video games and leave it you to guess what game we’re talking about. If you want to submit a Haiku feel free. Send it here!

I really need to make my username more distinct, hey @beavwa 😛
Edit: Also, fun fact. I only was able to guess this one because of research I was doing for a Haitaku a couple weeks ago where I was reading about old Australian games. Nexi’s comment about Mt Fuji put me in the mind of Karate, so I thought it might be “The Karate Kid” game (where there’s an interlude with Mr Miyagi catching a fly) and then remembered ‘that karate game that had weird scoring’.
Hey hey. I was going to say I did remarkably well for not even looking or guessing. :p
Alice Madness Returns?
Oh oh! i totally know this one! Biker Mice from Mars!
Well, that’s The Dig.
Miss me?Totally digging your triumphant return. \o/
The chosen one has returned! Did you forget to pay your internet bill?
Naw, just been lazy. I figured I’d let implied guesses of The Dig stand in for me for a while.
I feel you pain. Sadly… there hasn’t been one single “The Dig” guess in months… But you cant blame them since the answer is clearly Biker Mice from Mars
One does not tread on the toes of sleeping giants. Some guesses are off limits, because it’s clearly Schrodinger’s Haitaku – it’s both The Dig and Biker Mice from Mars until somebody observes it.
Did System Shock 2 have a third ship?
As a completely random guess. Solar Winds?
Didn’t you only have 1 ship in that? (Though many fond memories of it)
You had to find different ships to get things though as part of the story. I was just firing out the best thing that came to mind, even if it’s a very loose fit.
I’m getting that sinking feeling that people aren’t observing the clues. But then again this isn’t rocket race against the clock or anything. You guys should relax and not let this grind your gears too much, go to your local library or if you own one, a peaceful cabin escape in the woods and read a quiet little book to generate the juices needed solve this hitaku
Have I Myst something, or are you giving more clues?
