Two years after leaving G4, veteran games journalist and TV presenter Adam Sessler is now seemingly leaving the field behind entirely.
In a short blog post, he announces that after 16 years in the field it’s time for something new.
After some incredible achievements over the last year and a half, I am announcing my departure from Rev3 Games and Discovery Digital Networks. Sixteen years in front of the camera covering the video game industry has brought me to a point where I am ready and desiring to explore new opportunities. While I would never say no to doing one more review, interview or opinion piece, the time feels right to explore new avenues inside of gaming that help further the medium. The audience, my wonderful and talented co-workers and the last year at Rev3 Games will forever be appreciated for what was accomplished. There never is a right time to part ways with something that has become as natural as breathing, but things do end and now feels right.
That “new avenue” appears to be consultancy, as his Twitter bio now says he’s “the President of TheoryHead, Inc”, which is a “consultancy for entertainment and media”.

All i’m thinking now is the character Adam Sizzler from The Leet World who sold ‘Hax’ on a TV placement in the show lol.
I miss that show & the guys who made it.
Man that sucks – I am devout watcher of Sessler’s reviews since discovering Rev3 after discovering Anthony Carboni (this is how YouTube works)
Luckily they have enough talent there with Carboni, Long and Bromley to keep it fresh
I have been a great fan of Adam for about the last 10 years. Something tells me that commenting aspect of Rev3 (like every gaming site) was just getting to him. Too many child-idiots given the chance to talk waffle is enough to do anyones head in! All the same he is a great presence in the industry and I hope we see him in the near future.
I give this announcement two sad faces… out of five.
No, but seriously, Adam Sessler is awesome. He was always so entertaining to watch on X Play and while I didn’t see much of him during his time at Rev3Games, its still sad to see him moving on. I guess all I can say is good luck in his future endeavors.
