Now, you may or may not be a fan of truck simulators. Hell, you might even despise them. Right now, that doesn’t matter. What matters is that Euro Truck Simulator 2’s developer, SCS Software, has released new screenshots for its upcoming game, American Truck Simulator — and you don’t have to be a fan of the genre to appreciate their beauty. I thought they were GTA 5 for a moment.
Same – something about the lighting or tone really makes this look like San Andreas…

You say that like it’s a bad thing. I found ETS2 quite relaxing to play =)
For a lot of people, that’s just as enjoyable an experience as ruthlessly slaughtering people is to others.
@Zombiejesus @Edenist It was a very lighthearted joke – I found ETS2 to be a great way to relax after work then a screaming baby after that! The environments will only make it that much better and hopefully the truck modifications are built upon and expanded greatly.
I get taken way too seriously, I don’t know internet subtlety…

Or even just a “let me drive something other than a truck” mod 😉
for ETS2 there are some mods that give you drivable cars, which are good to get from garage to garage, or go out and find truck dealers in new towns
