If you’re watching a movie and the main character takes a whole scene to get ready, there’s a pretty good chance that shit just got real. Here’s almost 100 characters getting ready for their Big Moment.
Warning: There are a few shots that contain suggestive content.
I thought the inclusion of Mulan early on was good, but then I caught The Pacifier, The Notorious Bettie Page, and my favourite, The Three Amigos. Here’s the full film list, in alphabetical order:

That was kinda neat.
On another related note, Army of Darkness, hail to the king baby
The win goes to Commando with the 4 barrel rocket launcher, followed by Terminator 2 with the minigun/grenade launcher combo, then aliens with the flame/pulse rifle combo, with honorary mentions to predator, army of darkness and dusk till dawn. Rest are pretty meh and very little in the way of gearing up scenes since the early 90s. Booo, bring them back hollywood!
Best hero movie ever
Semi-Off topic: Ok, this is really creeping me out. At 3:17 today, I commented on a Titanfall video post here on Kotaku. My comment was: A little off topic here but the song (Adagio in D minor by John Murphy) that starts about 40 seconds in is used in everything now! There have been so many Variations of this song or songs that follow pretty much the same beat/rhytm or whatever in so many games, movies and Tv shows. e.g. Battlefield 4, Kickass, The Walking Dead. Great song but its strange how its popping up everywhere now. Sorry for the rant.
And now this comes up. Another video featuring this music, posted to kotaku on the same day. Massive coincidence? I think not!
