Everyone remembers that the plot of Tron: a computer hacker/arcade owner gets pulled into the cyberscape of a cool-looking video game. Now, the actual game that Kevin Flynn journeyed into gets an impressive painted tribute.
The renderings of stand-up cabinet versions of Space Paranoids and Starfighter come from Joey Spiotto, the artist who created children’s book covers based on fan-favourite game series like Metroid and Mass Effect. Spiotto’s new fictional game artworks are part of a 10th-Anniversary show at Gallery 1988 and will be on display until April 26. Spiotto should really make more of these, no?

Ummm…Was a Starfighter game ever in either Tron movie? I don’t remember. But I’m sure that Starfighter game is from The Last Starfighter movie.
And both those games are downloadable from Rogue Synapse. Here’s the link to The Last Startfighter game: http://www.roguesynapse.com/games/last_starfighter.php. 🙂
Nah he is referring to Space Paranoids from Tron classic, by Kevin Flynn…
TRON LIVES!
