The security flaw known as “Heartbleed” could be the worst thing that’s ever happened to the internet. Whether or not you’re spooked by it, some people are already taking measures. Like… renaming their games on Steam.
For those who already own the game, South Park: The Stick Of Truth is, for the time being, no longer called South Park: The Stick Of Truth in their Steam library. It has instead been renamed “Valve please reset all partner logins because heartbleed”.
(It’s still called “South Park: The Stick Of Truth” on the store page, however).
Whether this is a mistake, a cry for help or something else, we’ve asked Ubisoft, and will update if we hear back.
(and yes, I know, 53 minutes. I blame Bravely Default.)
Thanks Ben!

Considring this effects any person who ever made a steam transaction, i agree with them.
Whilst this might EFFECT some changes in the steam system it most certainly will not EFFECT players. It may very well AFFECT them however.
Huh?
He’s correcting your grammar. affect and effect are two very different words. If something influences something else it will affect it.
To put it simply, affect is a verb and effect is a noun.
The more you know.
Ah, now i see.
In my defence it was 5 in the morning for me.
edit:
i also didn’t do english in high school. Still, my stupid mistake.
All good mate ^_^
Effect can also be a verb. Although I must admit, it is one of the trickier uses of a word in the English language as far as the majority of people go.
Not the most catchiest title
Black Ops 2 was also victim of this
Apparently Steam’s been patched to fix this:
