What do this original Kinect and Wii Balance Board have in common? Aside from a general irrelevance to video games in 2014, they have also come together to bring us the hoverboarding future that the real world has sadly failed to deliver.
The two peripherals link up with an Oculus Rift headset to form the cornerstone of Hoverboard VR, the creation of a Dutch ad agency that combines all three inputs (and their player sensations) to give a very primitive impression of virtual hoverboarding.
Some may scoff at the visuals, but think of them as a virtual tour of old Master System box art and suddenly it’s a lot more compelling.

They should have used the skateboard peripheral from Tony Hawk Ride!
They should bury that game/peripheral next to ET
It would look better, but I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t work better. That thing is the poster boy for unresponsiveness, but it could be just the poorly made game.
