The dream of boutique video game consoles has been alive for a while now. But has wood panelling ever looked this good on a PlayStation 4? This Balolo cover certainly puts last year’s attempt to shame.
Check out more of Balolo’s work for the PS4 and Xbox One below. If you like what you see, you can order one or several here.

No, not at all
Interested in the thermal properties of this vs. plastic
if you’re speaking of those shown above, specifically, it’s a lot worst..
the plastic hasn’t been replaced, it’s just wood plates/decals stuck on top of it, so the heat is insulated a lot more. i wouldn’t use it.
Spot on, the 3M DI-Noc film comes in about a hundred different varieties (wood grain, carbon, metal etc..)
and for such a simple cheap little mod it can really improve the physical aesthetics (but can also kill the look if you have no taste)
It’s not film. It’s wood veneer.
Please follow the link and examine.
It also doesn’t cover any vents.
Ahh, I had a quick look at their website and it said “real wood” so I didn’t really look further and realise they’re just decals. Cheers!

Though I had seen this before somewhere…

I guess that was like, 2 whole months ago.
Mmmm… that’s what I need. I want my PS4 to smell like rich mahogany.
ick… does anyone want this?
Yes. Ron Burgundy wants this.
I’d put this next to my many leather bound books.
I would if it looked more like actual wood and not the walls of the garage your grandfather turned in to a den before your father was born
I prefer my consoles to not look like they were made in 1976 thank you very much.
It’s like Clark Griswold’s PS4!
I don’t want those consoles… but I won’t lie, I would need that controller if it were only a little more covered in wood decals.
