Instead of looting corpses, someone actually did read all the dialogue in Diablo III, and managed to sum up the endless war between angels and demons in a single minute.
Here’s Lore’s latest video:

You know, that’s a little bit insulting. A lot of people care about the story in the Diablo universe, myself included, and it’s really not at all convoluted.
I agree. Video also skips over Diablo 1 & 2
Yeah I actually love the Lore Blizzard puts together, also the lore in D3 makes a lot more sense if you grab the Book of Cain/Tyrael.
The overall arc is ok imo, the way it was presented was an absolute disaster. The dialogue was written by 5 year olds. The two are not the same (lore & dialogue).
I’m currently half way through D3 (first time playing)
should i wait until i finish the game before watching the video above?
don’t want to spoil it.
the Lore was actually explained in depth through media released by blizzard a long time ago, way before D3 was released. Much of it covered the creation of the diablo universe, characters and events of legend, etc. this video covers that, and not the story of d3
knowing the lore would actually make your gameplay experience a bit more enjoyable.
Skipping text is like skipping foreplay, while you can do it, it takes away meaning from the experience.
