Final Fantasy III Is Coming To PC

Final Fantasy III Is Coming To PC

Over the past couple of years, Square Enix has brought Final Fantasy VII and then Final Fantasy VIII to personal computers via Steam. Naturally, their next step is Final Fantasy III.

There’s no release date for the game yet, but there’s a Steam listing up now. This looks like a port of the PSP version, optimised for PCs according to Square Enix. And of course that itself was a port of the DS version, which was a remake of Final Fantasy III for NES, originally released in 1990.

So if I’ve got my maths straight here, this is a port of a port of a remake of an NES game. Good stuff. Now where’s FFVI HD?
