This fan-trailer-slash-intro-remake convinced me that it’s an excellent idea. Even if half of it would be hats.
Upon pondering what a Smash Bros. game with an all-Valve cast would look like, YouTuber crazyhalo took matters into their own hands to create Super Smash Bros. Source, a shot-by-shot remake of the intro to Super Smash Bros. Melee, utilising the Source Filmmaker and its myriad of Valve characters. The result is pretty darn glorious:
