I’ve been trying to keep track of the Humble Store Spring sale, mainly because it started out so strong. I was also hoping a few PC games I’ve been looking to check out would get discounts. I was right.
Today’s sales are great, particularly for those people looking to check out some of last year’s best Indie games. Gone Home, for example, is down from $19.99 to $4.99. If you were put off by this game’s length, now is the perfect chance to pick it up. I fully recommend it. Probably my favourite PC game of 2013.
Papers Please was another game I enjoyed in 2013 and that’s on sale also. Down from $9.99 to a ludicrous $3.99.
(Man, I’m really starting to sound like one of those pre-recorded dudes in the $2 shop. ALL TOOTHPASTES ONLY 99 CENTS. YOU HEARD ME 99 CENTS.)
What else is good? Kentucky Route Zero is half price at $12.49. I’ve been looking to play that for ages, so I think I’ll pick it up. Total War: Rome II is also half price at $29.97. Apparently a series of patches has made this the game it was supposed to be. Oh, and Super Hexagon is 98 cents.
YOU HEARD ME 98 CENTS.
Check out the sale here.

More sales? Noooo…
I think I’ve reached my limit. No new games until I’ve finished what I’ve got. Or Arkham Knight comes out, but even then I can probably wait for the GOTY version.

Really? That’s awesome news! I may have to install it again!
Can anyone tell me if these are regular patches, or if they are in the form of 3rd party user-created patches??
Steam has been updating my Total War Rome 2. A couple of big patches and one this week that was 200mb.
Not sure if there are mods for it, or if there are 3rd party patches. But I’m going to give it another go as well.
I hate you Serrels… I really do!
I was set to NOT spend any money on PC games till the Steam Summer Sales but now you’ve made me break that!… I just spent $4 on Papers Please
I got all the pc games i want, so these sales are
Invalid.
Yes the sales are invalid because you have all the PC games you want.
Good for you.
I am sure there are plenty of other readers out there that don’t though and appreciate them.
Yes, correct.
i wasn’t trying to sound selfish.
it’s been a good sale for grabbing spare DRM-free copies of some of my Steam games for like $2 each, along with some good little flash deals… also it’s not quite as neurotic as trying to keep track of GOG’s current insomnia sale (flash deals with limited copies, new deal when they run out – got myself Carmageddon 2 for $2 when there were about 30 copies remaining :p)
Hrrmmm it’s $6.66 for me (AKA “no sale”).
Currently has Saints-Row, Dead Island, Metro bundle.
One day only! Pay what you want for up to 9 games in the Humble Daily Bundle: Deep Silver Re-Bundle https://www.humblebundle.com via @humble
