“An action RPG set in 1920s Massachusetts. Create and manage a team of investigators in a story-driven supernatural mystery.” If that’s not a game you can’t get behind, then I don’t know what’s up with you.
Witchmarsh is a game we first looked at last year, when it was a twinkle in the internet’s eye, but it’s now grown into a project that’s big enough to start taking in cash via Kickstarter.
It’s a sidescrolling 2D RPG that will feature stuff like proper tactical combat, branching storylines, online multiplayer and even 4-player co-op.
Between the character art and the visual style I could just look at screenshots and gifs all day and be happy; if developers Inglenook can put a decent RPG under it all then even better.

And they have been picked up by Chucklefish to publish. Good to see an indie publisher fightin the good fight

Doesn’t that double negative make it a statement of how you should avoid the game?
