The upcoming Mario Kart 8 for the Wii U won’t just be taking place on the Wii U. Nintendo will also be releasing a smartphone app, on which people can share stuff like highlight reels and check out leaderboards.
I’m shocked. Not that Nintendo is making an app, or that it even looks useful, but that they’re making one that actually looks good.
Mario Kart TV, or MKTV, will also be available as an online service for browsers.
