This Is What Batman Looks Like In Batman vs. Superman

Yesterday we reported that Zach Snyder was teasing a reveal of the Batmobile in his upcoming movie Batman vs. Superman. Now he's gone and showed the world what the Batmobile looks like with some added actual Batman, because why not? It's his goddamn movie after all.

Personally I think it looks great. There was a lot of internet rage when Ben Affleck was cast as Batman, but I actually like the casting. This pic gives us no idea about his performance, or any idea what this movie will be like, but I'm liking what I see so far. It actually reminds me of the Arkham series of video games in terms of aesthetics. This is a good thing.

I'm one of those lonely few who actually enjoyed Zach Snyder's take on Superman, so I'm looking forward to this.

Looks similar to the suit from Dark Knight Returns.

It's hard to tell because it's black and white, but it looks like the main part of the suit will be a lighter grey rather than making the whole thing black like in the previous films.

Straight out of the comics, I like it.

It's very much the Dark Knight Returns costume. Look at that big chunky chest symbol! Man, it's awesome I'm still cautiously optimistic about this

I don't know why but the ears annoy me. It's such a little thing but it really annoying.

I'm not a big fan of them either, very 60s TV series

I really like them. Reminds me of some of the better batman comics.

I'm with you. If anything, they need to be... Erm... Longer... And pointy-er... Er...

The ears looks like a Scottish-fold cat's ears. Scottish-fold Catman

Reminds me of Michelle Phifers Catwoman.

Add one more to the group Mark
    I liked Man of Steel

My issue with the superman was his complete lack of care for mankind.
I'm pretty confident that if you smash someone through a building, lots of innocent folk will die.
Its like... Superman knocked down a building... awesome... 2,000+ innocents die... -.-

Other than that... it was pretty good.

      Me too!

As said "Whoops there goes another building full of people..."

Yeah, I quite liked Man of Steel and thought Cavill was a solid Superman. Still not sure about Affleck as Batman, but at least we're staying far away from Batman and Robin territory.

I'm just glad that there's no nipples on the batsuit.

At least they've gone for a good looking batmobile, one that's closer to the comics than the Tumbler was

Looks a little fat...though maybe that's just the angle of the shot. And the ears look a little short.
Other than that, I'm loving the look. Especially that Batmobile, that looks awesome :D Looks kinda like the Arkham Knight Batmobile.
PS, I enjoyed Man of Steel too.

The look seems to be pretty much straight out of The Dark Knight Returns, where Bats was a bit older and fatter. If this movie is simply just a live-action version of that, I will be very, very happy.

Especially if it focusses on the Batman/Superman relationship in there.

I just want to see Batman smack the crap out of Superman.

@markserrels Someone upped the brightness and fixed the contrast and it shows a bunch more detail:

Nice! Ingenious how they made the costume look like it was bunching up over actual muscle instead of moulded padding...

I'm not saying that Affleck ISN'T built like a god!

Looks like he needs to lay off the Test and HGH. Look at that gut.

Batman is probably the most loved superhero right now so if they stuff it up there's going to be a backlash that no-one's going to be able to hide away from. It looks good from what glimpses we've had so far but as ever the proof's in the pudding.

From 'analysing' the last couple of days though, it looks like trying to keep the grittiness of Nolan's Batman and the style of the comics.

Really liking the dark knight look, looks like there going for the older batman look which is cool because I enjoyed the more brutal angry Bruce Wayne

Isn't it the other way round? Brutal, more violent Wayne was when he first started as Batman

So sick, really loving this. Goddamn, so comic booky. Looks like a cross between The Dark Knight Returns and the New 52, both of which I really like.

Glad to see all the Batfleck haters eating their words.

For those interested, someone on Reddit posted a higher res version:

EDIT: Should mention, I'm a big fan of Man Of Steel and am really looking forward to this. I understand why some people don't like it, but one thing they've absolutely nailed is visual design and casting. Bring on the Wonder Woman reveal!

Haha Not sure how this pic redeems Affleck in the slightest. I'm a fence sitter myself but this says nothing about the casting yet! Fingers crossed it'll be good!

So is Matt Damon, Robin then?

I could buy a Bourne-esque Matt Damon as Nightwing.

While not your Grandpappy's superman I also love Man of Steel. I was initially a bit of a Affleck hater. This has restored my faith in humanity!

I'm still waiting for a Captain Planet movie - the power is yours!

Looks good. I'm still sad that Scott Adkins didn't get the role, though. He's fantastic, and it would have been so good to see a Batman who could actually fight for once.

I reckon it looks like there's a couple of skulls in the smoke behind the batmobile. What's up with that?

some one colored it. This one looks the best

Are there any comic book readers posting here? How has nobody looked at that picture and not immediately referenced frank miller's Batman?
