LittleBigPlanet 3 is coming to the PlayStation 4, Sony said in an announcement that just made my day.
And better yet: Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida added that remastered versions of all of the previous games’ user-created levels will be available for the LittleBigPlanet 3 once it’s released.
The brief gameplay footage shown off during Sony’s E3 press conference looked amazing, weird, and vibrant in all the ways that LittleBigPlanet has always been. Details were scarce as to what makes the PS4 version of LittleBigPlanet feel truly next-gen. But if last year’s amazing PS Vita game Tearawaywas any indication of how Media Molecule works, I’m sure that their next game will bring plenty of weird and wonderful ideas to the table as well.

Yissssssssss, I’m so happy, this series is the cutest and now there’s a friggin’ DOG.
It is being developed by Sumo Digital, who also developed LittleBigPlanet Vita, which was a decent instalment in the series.
So it’s not clear how much involvement Media Molecule will have. I’m kind of glad that they’re not stuck remaking the same game over and over again though.
That’s OK. I didn’t care about the HSC or the rest of my life anyway.
I knew something like this would happen.
You’re magic, just like LittleBigPlanet.
