Epic Comeback Leads To EVO Glory In Marvel Vs Capcom

Get to 12:30 on this Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 EVO semifinal clip and you'll see/hear what looks like an impending defeat for Justin Wong in his matchup against Filipino Champ. Until he pulls it out of the fire and everyone goes nuts.

That win put Wong in Final against Chris G, where he emerged victorious to take the EVO 2014 crown. We'll have footage of that in a minute.

    Get to 12:30

On a video that's under nine minutes?
I'd love to see, but I'm not going through nine minutes for the moment you couldn't be bothered linking to correctly, or provide correct timestamp for.
Youtube long ago added parameters that you can pass to define start and end times. I'll see if I can find them for you, since you seem unaware of their existence.

EDIT: Two second Google search leads to this: https://developers.google.com/youtube/player_parameters#start

They really cut out a lot of segments from this footage which might make it harder to digest for people new to the game so maybe the timestamp was from longer footage:

e.g. at the 1min mark Doom is blocking Wolverine and Akuma... nek minnut... Phoenix is miraculously there. Doom has lost some health and Wolverine has 2meters of super so he must have done a combo to snapback.

Here's the post as it appears on Kotaku US:

it was updated several times to include additional content. It appears some of that text made it over to the AU site while other parts did not. Weird, but happens sometimes when cross-publishing.

    Cheers. :)
Bleh, that was supposed to be a response to @phlaiman

It wouldnt be an evo jwong match without an epic akuma comeback.

The edits in this video were utterly atrocious and made it it impossible to follow what was going on. It totally sapped the drama and the tension from what seemed like an epic showdown.
