Old-game archivist Larry Bundy digs deep in the sketchy game publishing history tactics of three decades ago to find out why a seeming licence to print money — a NES video game based on the Thundercats — never happened. Lion-O did have adventures on the ZX Spectrum and other systems but none on Nintendo’s dominant home console. After seeing the shenanigans involved in the games that could have been, fans of Thundera’s adventurers were probably better off that they never happened.
