Couple Imprisoned For Playing WoW Instead Of Looking After Children

Lester Louis Huffmire and his wife, Petra Huffmire, have been sentenced to five years and three years prison respectively for “obsessively” playing World of Warcraft while “keeping their two young daughters locked inside their filthy mobile home for years without adequate food or basic care”.

KTLA reports that the couple, arrested last year, plead guilty to “two felony counts of child abuse, two misdemeanour counts of false imprisonment” and “one misdemeanour count of contributing to delinquency of a minor”.

Police and investigators found that for three years, between 2010 and 2013, the trailer they lived in had appliances “covered in mould and cobwebs, stacks of trash, debris, mould, and feces throughout the home, a pile of used condoms under a stuffed teddy bear, and inoperable toilets.”
