English Words That Don’t Appear on Tests isn’t your typical English textbook for Japanese students. Thank goodness.
Previously, Kotaku has covered the book (here and here). It’s truly wonderful and strange, and that’s the point. Because, you know what? The English language is wonderful and strange too.
Japanese people often find English rather difficult, and maybe that’s because the standard textbooks are dull as snot? Maybe! English Words That Don’t Appear on Tests does its best to liven things up.
For more on English Words That Don’t Appear on Tests, check out the book’s Facebook page in the link below. Those living in Japan can order the book here. No idea if, or when, it will get a release outside Japan.

This is great 🙂 I want a copy of this book to help improve my English.
Wow. That’s funny.
The context sentences are just weird enough that it makes you wonder if they actually have any idea what the word means.
