Wow, They Actually Made Another Toy Soldiers Game

Part of me is furrowing my brow at the violent gender divide going on here. Why do "boy's toys" and "girl's toys" need to fight each other? Can't kids just get along and play with all of them? Or just get some LEGO instead?

But another part of me grew up with a little sister, so death to coloured bears.

I really enjoyed Cold Wars or whatever the last one was - but - I enjoyed Iron Brigade more. I hope they make a new one of those. Awesome 4 player co-op.

i agree luke - plus I'm a little weirded out by the obvious gender stereotyping in general. I stopped watching when the fairy starting talking about "slumber parties and tea parties" ugh

on the plus side the game looks kinda fun

Can none of these things just be funny BECAUSE of the stereotypes? Everyone on the internet pretends to be above that sort of satire because it isn't PC. It seems pretty clear that the overly macho soldiers and overly girly toys are the joke themselves.

If you like Ricky Gervais or Louis CK (popular on the US/Aus internets) you like satire, even when it touches on a subject that you find distasteful

I didn't even hear the trailer say they were boys or girls toys? Sounds like you two are doing the stereotyping to me! Seriously, it's a game, they're two sides. No different than every other game saying Russia is the enemy. Too many white knights lately!

Ditto (this was meant as a reply to @ted)
