Someone Beat Ninja Gaiden II's Hardest Setting Without Taking Damage

If you've played Ninja Gaiden II, you know that it's a game that's pretty tough on its third-hardest Mentor difficulty. On the Master Ninja setting, it makes grown men cry. Except for the Chinese player who seems to have beaten the game at its hardest without getting a scratch.

A set of four videos on YouTube purportedly show the Tomonobu Itagaki-designed game taken down in four hours, with the person playing — who goes a handle that roughly translates to "the guy who was revived" — remaining untouched. I remember spending nights cursing my life while playing the original version of NGII on its Warrior setting. To see this player blow through its levels in such expert fashion is utterly amazing.

This game was hard even on the easiest setting for me. This is just amazing.

When I read this I thought it was Ninja Gaiden 2 on the NES.
I was ready to be super impressed.

Same, I didn't know there was a ninja gaiden 2 on the Xbox

Pretty sure it's Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2.

I don't know either game, but if you goto the user 月飛ぶ youtube page, he has both Ninja Gaiden 2 and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 videos. The ones linked to this page all have Ninja Gaiden 2 titled on them.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 is the PS3 version. Ninja Gaiden 2 was the 360 version. Basically MS got the first two entries first then it got ported to PS3 with more content, balancing etc to Sony's machine.

Dayum! That's whole bunch of dismembered muthafuggas right there!...
